Who we are
HB-Laser’s operational areas and services focus not only on its headquarters in Germany but extend to locations all around the world.
At the location in Schwaebisch Gmuend the departments for development, production, project planning, designing, training as well as the creative department are housed. On site our teams take care of implementation and realization of projects. Sometimes the operational areas couldn’t be more different: whether indoors or outdoors, in areas with extreme (weather) conditions, on buildings, underwater, or in underground tunnels – HB-Laser has many years of experience and competent, highly qualified staff to implement projects so that customer’s expectations are exceeded.
In addition to the project implementation, technical modifications, maintenance and service on site are also parts of the service spectrum of HB-Laser.

The HB-Laser team of engineers, with years of experience, develops CAD supported optical and mechanical systems. Factoring in the in-house CNC production, this is an assurance of highest precision and sturdiness. Regardless of which HB-Lasers’ standard products, a customized components assembly or units made to customers specification – quality and life span rank first. In-house tool design and construction make quick and low-cost solutions possible even for the most eccentric special design.
Overview / OEM
HB-FB-4 BreakOutBox for Lasersystems
is a network interface that is available with Pangolin Quickshow or Pangolin BEYOND. With the HB-FB-4 BreakOutBox, it is no longer necessary to connect the computer to the show laser via an ILDA interface. Control is done via network with Quickshow or BEYOND, by DMX or in stand-alone mode.

Climate Housings / Weather Protection
HB-Laser offers customized solutions for every environment. Mostly the technology has to be integrated as invisible as possible into the project. Standard air conditioning units cannot offer this. Therefore HB-Laser develops and builds individual solutions according to customer requirements.
Due to our decades of experience we are able to realize condensation-free air conditioning housings even in the most confined spaces. From simple rain protection to IP68 housings for underwater use, aggressive environments in mines or extreme temperature ranges from -50°C to +60°C.
Projection Screens
Your choice of screens
For projections with lasers, lights or videos HB-Laser offers motorized screens made of foils or gauze. In a breathtaking manner, dynamic front or rear projections of laser light can be created, only depending on your demand; in combination with slide- or video projection astounding multivision effects are possible. The screens have a fast tube motor with 2 m per second to enable an exact and silent run.

IVS / Interactive Visions
the crowd puller!
An interactive projection system as ideal sales promotion – it is suitable for table, bar, counter, floor, wall, ceiling or shop window projections. Compact design and quick and easy assembly – also suitable for use in theaters and stages.
Any projector with a resolution up to 4k (or alternatively an LED wall) can be connected to the Interactive Visions System. 2 Full HD projectors and several systems can also be combined with each other.
Special programming enables the interface to control light and costume projections (spotlights, LED stipes, moving heads) via Artnet and DMX.

Video and laser mapping
A presentation technology that is becoming more and more widespread is the so-called video/laser mapping.
Generally speaking, mapping is the projection of static or dynamic images, animations or videos onto immovable objects. This can be, for example, buildings, sculptures or larger objects.
The object to be projected is precisely irradiated by our powerful lasers or video projectors, giving the object a new “virtual” shell.
A new texture or structure can thus be projected onto an object in order to give it a new look. With 3D video/laser mapping, not just a photo or a still image is projected. With the help of predefined, custom-fit videos or animations, the illuminated objects and facades are given a life of their own. Fascinating optical illusions can thus be created and entire scenic productions can be realised.
