Tüssling Castle – Outdoor video mapping and laser mapping for Christmas

In 2010 and 2011 we designed spectacular laser and multimedia shows for the annual Christmas market in front of the Tüssling Castle in Bavaria. The building facade of the castle, which is 80 m long in total, was transformed into a breathtaking projection surface by our video & laser mapping.

In 2012 we also carried out a multimedia projection on the facade of the castle at the Christmas market in front of the castle in Tüssling. In 2012, the concept brought with it interactivity: in addition to a spectacular laser and multimedia show, a special Interactive Visions System (IVS) with “wall painting” feature was installed. A specially developed “laser pointer” served as a pen, the drawings were implemented by the Interactive Visions motion detection system on the facade. The Christmas market visitors could design the castle facade with their “drawings”.

In 2013 we were again commissioned for a multimedia show at the annual Christmas market. This year the focus was entirely on video mapping with spectacular three-dimensional effects on the facade of the palace.

We realized:

  • The shows were complete solutions and included the provision of the 3D content, programming, design, implementation and operation of the show directly on site.

The following equipment was used for video mapping, laser mapping and laser shows:

  • 2 x HB Laser LightCube NexGen RGB 15W
  • 2 x HB Laser LightCube NexGen RGB 8W
  • 15kW PR Sound sound system
  • 2 x SANYO XF47 16,000 ANSI lumen video projectors
  • 1 x HB-Laser TITAN 5 Multimedia Control Station, networkable, with Pangolin laser control software
  • 1 x HB-Laser TITAGN 5 3D Multimedia Control Station with V4 software integration for 3D video mapping

For the interactive mural project was used:

  • 2 x Interactive Visions (IVS) projection system
  • 2 x SANYO XF47 16,000 ANSI lumens video projectors
  • Interactive Visions Media Control Station
